TIPS FOR GREAT-LOOKING GIFTS
• Get creative! Wrapping the perfect gift doesn’t need to be expensive. Look for wrapping materials in unusual places: thrift stores, garage sales, office supply stores, and around the house. Use paper bags, parchment paper, or newspaper as your wrapping paper.
• Top your gift with thrifted buttons, brooches, clip-on earrings, buckles, or scarves.
• Try wrapping twine, yarn, or ribbon around your gift a bunch of times and tying it together with a small knot.
• Go outside (or to a florist or nursery) and pick some fresh herbs, flowers, twigs, or feathers that you can add to your wrappings for an organic and natural look.
• Use hanging labels from office-supply stores to make personalized gift tags.
• Make your own gift wrap using rubber stamps and butcher paper.
• Use double-stick tape. The seamless finish is so pretty, and it’s also much easier to use when your hands are full.
• Run your fingers along the edges of the wrapped box for a crisp finish.
