Nudie site Nofauxxx.com proves that you don’t have to fake it to make it

Sextress Courtney Trouble likes porn, makes porn, and runs her own porn website, Nofauxxx.com. It’s an impressive feat for a 22-year-old college student from Olympia, Washington, who juggles three other jobs: Web design, phone sex, and photography.

“These three things come very easily to me. It just seemed natural to mix the three and throw in some of my opinions about dominant culture and beauty standards,” Trouble said, explaining how the concept for No Fauxxx was born. “I couldn't find a site on the Web for the queers, the ladies, the fatties, and the punks that was really inclusive to everybody without rules, requirements, or categories, so I made it.”

For a $10 monthly fee, members can access the sleek pink-and-black Web pages that tout models of various races, LGBT sex pics, zaftig pin-up girls, hardcore fetish shots, and much more. “There had to be something separate from the fatphobic, heterocentric, dominant sex culture out there,” Trouble said, dismissing pierced-and-tattooed Web sites as a variant on the mainstream ideal. “I felt like alternative-porn culture sites like Suicide Girls mimicked the same exact beauty standards of dominant media. Suicide Girls is like Playboy meets Hot Topic. My primary goal is to create a truly inclusive space for sexual expression and stereotype destruction where we can redefine porn to make it work for us.”

It sounds like No Fauxxx is here to stay, as Trouble expands the business to meet her widening customer base. “Two years ago it was just me and my camera,” she said. “Now I have over 35 models, erotica, message boards, videos, and a solid base of faithful members. And it never stops. It just keeps growing. It's so nice to know that there are people out there who agree that porn should be made for all, by all.”
