When thinking of an athletic shoe designed for and endorsed by an NBA superstar, affordability isn’t usually a factor. New York Knicks point guard Stephon Marbury wants to change that.
His Starbury line of athletic shoes — manufactured by Steve and Barry’s — is made of all the finest ingredients you’d find in any other top-notch sneaker. The main difference is that Starbury shoes — which Marbury wears on the court, and Chicago Bull’s star Ben Wallace will be sporting this fall — retail for $14.98. In addition, the line features both men and women’s sneakers from the retro “Surfside” to the lightweight “Tornado” in an array of striking colors.
