With all that soul packed into such a pint-sized package, Amy Winehouse bursts with a fashion sense that we can’t help but notice. Edgy but polished, Winehouse — who is included in the 2007 Mercury Prize shortlist — is just a little bit rockabilly and a whole lotta eyeliner. Often pairing feminine ballet flats with rocknroll skinny jeans, tunic tops with figure-creating high-waisted belts, and reserving the blackest blacks for her eyes and prettiest pink fuchsia stains for her lips, Winehouse balances her hard image with soft details. But one secret will always remain: How does she get that raven bouffant to be so mountainous?
