PAWS (short for Pets Are Worth Saving) opened its brand-new, state-of-the-art no-kill facility in fall 2006, featuring no cages, tons of natural light, and plenty of mental stimulation for homeless pooches and felines. And tis the season to be giving, so if you’re in the Chicago area, consider giving one of these deserving pets a new home — and get a best friend in return!
