New York’s Fashion Week has finally come to a close, but what a week it was! Betsey, and ProjRun, and Jacobs, oh my! And with the onset of London Fashion Week, I have trouble selecting my favorite this year, but I can tell you one name that stood out the most to me: House of Holland.
Designer Henry Holland’s most iconic work — bold, bright printed tees that were everywhere last summer — are what first got the industry’s attention, but HOH’s runway show last week is what proved that Holland is here to stay.
Tartan prints, pleats, and antler-wielding models (starring it-girl-of-the-moment Agyness Deyn) made bold statements too big to be screen-printed on a neon shirt.
