The idea that one person's trash is another person's treasure has been around or a while. But now there's an association that's actually doing something about it. On the New York Waste Match Material Exchange site, you can post your own surplus materials and search through other people's trash to find treasures in comprehensive listings. You'll be able to find just about anything from computers to building materials for your next creative endeavor.
