Offering a bit more flavor than skinny guys with keyboards, Amadou and Mariam have a seemingly limitless repertoire of world sounds — from traditional Mali, Syrian guitars, and Egyptian ney to their later influences of American blues, Latin Salsa, and French Folk. Longtime stars in West Africa, the blind married couple met in Mali and bonded over a love for music. The resulting joyful mix of music from different ends of the earth will surely expand concert goers' experience in the best of ways.
