Sarah Bowman loves Yelle

Yelle is Julie Budet, or rather, the voice stuck in my head. Known for her in-your-face electro pop jams, this French frontwoman is equal parts hard-hitting lyrics and incredibly perfect dance tracks. Her most recent musical contribution, and the song that I’ve had constantly on repeat, is a cover of Robyn’s “Who’s that Girl?” or “Qui Est Cette Fille?” Unlike most covers, this song is definitely better than the original, and stands to rival her popular single, "Je Veux Te Voir" as one of my personal favorites.

But my love of Yelle does not stop at her musical talent. Her wardrobe like her music is loud but somehow comes together just right. Her hamburger infused outfits in her “Ce Jeu” video are not to be missed.
