Laura Nalin loves The Rachel Zoe Project

I typically consider reality TV to be the decline of Western civilization, I surprise myself sometimes of just how much I adore The Rachel Zoe Project. On an uber-popular channel that features way too many drama-friendly shows with "real" housewives getting loaded and spitting hateful words towards one another, I much prefer to watch Zoe—Hollywood's ultrapetite and most sought after fashion stylist—and her team flip out over fashion faux pas as well as make noble attempts at doing every day chores (grocery shopping, making breakfast).

I love everything from Zoe's husband Rodger’s Justin Bieber-like hairstyle and pseudo-hetero charm to her delightfully dapper assistant Brad’s sassy meltdowns, which she has coined as his "Brad-ittude." Don't even get me started on how much I wish I could raid her chic wonderland of a closet that holds thousands of fearless, psychedelic pieces, costume jewelry, and a sea of gorgeous shoes. However, for now, that shall remain a dream.

On the season finale, Zoe decides to visit an obstetrician to learn about her baby-making options. Yet in the 5-minute closing segment it's clear that Zoe clearly isn't ready to have a baby despite her admission that pressure from her family and Rodger is a "constant weight on [her] shoulders every day." I think it's safe to say that the pin-thin stylist is far too thin to even entertain the thought of carrying a child. (If only Rodger had a uterus, all of their problems might be solved.)

Yes, I've made the happenings of this woman's life a permanent staple in my weekly viewing schedule. She's even created her own language ("love," "I die," etc.) that inevitably made its way into my own vernacular—and I can't even complain. The dynamics of her fierce, no-nonsense attitude and her peculiar personality have definitely kept me shamelessly watching. Now if only girlfriend would eat a Big Mac or something, then we'd be set.

(Season three just ended, sadly. In the meantime, get your Zoe fix with seasons one and two on DVD.)
