More Than Motion (Tooth and Nail)

Element 101 have always struck me with their real intensity and musical talent. Live, they are one of the true contenders out there. Singer Chrissie Verhagen's intensity and stage presence is emotionally explosive. That is why it was sad to hear of their recent breakup.
Their current release, More Than Motion, explores the intensity of emotion and of motion of sound. "The Fragile" explores the toll that being away from home can take. "And you shut the door / Lay yourself on the floor / That all you know / That's when you know that you're home." I highly recommend tracks one and three, as they really showcase the band's dynamic in sound. More Than Motion will most likely be the last release by Element 101 and it really shows what could have been for these New Jersey musicians Great rock and true heart are always a winning combination.
