About me
I’m an artist. I’m an illustrator. I always carry a pen. I take snapshots with my camera(s) and create sketches wherever I go. Oftentimes, those snippets of my life become completed works of art.
Fan of

Projects
Scribbles-Sketches: My Scribbles—Sketches are an on-going series of illustrations. They’re one-of-a-kind drawings created on found paper. I find others’ scribbles and transformed them into original drawings. I consider this work a process of “automatic drawing,” and each one has its own story.
You can find many of them for sale in my etsy shop: http://www.shandke.etsy.com/

Collaborations: I created several collaborative artworks with the artist, Danny Mansmith for our recent art show Pens & Needles.
You can find the completed pieces here: http://www.shawnahandke.com/collaboration/collaboration.htm

Urbanature: This is a new venue where I intend to sell custom-illustrated design projects, screen prints, handmade note cards and some lomography.
You can find more here: http://www.urbanature.etsy.com/

Community Sketchbook: The Community Sketchbook is a space where artists of all genres share their pages from their sketchbook(s). Eventually, we hope to create an actual sketchbook that is mailed from one artist to the next via “snail mail.”
We have a blog here: http://www.communitysketchbook.blogspot.com/
And a flickr group here: http://www.flickr.com/groups/communitysketchbook/
